It won’t be long now before I begin the long drive up in to the north-west of England. In all my ten years of walking, I’ve never once set foot in the Lake District proper (unless you count a stop at Tebay services on the way up to Scotland back in June…). Identifying achieveable plans for the remainder of 2021, post-lockdown.
By the time you read this, England should be free from the shackles of its third Lockdown. Some restrictions will remain. But we’ll also have slightly more freedom to meet with others and explore. I feel as though planning (dare I say it) for the rest of the year may be a feasible thought.
